The staff are friendly and helpful. We could do without the roaches so we got some sticky pads. The pool is closed but the neighbors are nice. I wish more owners would put a leash on their dogs. I'm happy there is public transportation and stores are nearby. It's been mostly quiet here and the children are nice. The maintenance said they replaced lights that they never did and the office chared $179 when their notice in our door had $139 that was heartbreaking then the fire alarm goes off by itself and if you need new batteries it's a$25 charge so get a ladder and replace them yourself. I wish the office would leave thir notices in your mailbox not at the door. The video we were sent said our apartment would have a microwave but it didn't. The balconies are cracking which is scary. There is a space over here for a basketball ball goal, it would be nice if one were put up.

05/07/2020 - Now on the 4th or 5th management company. Still no resolution to my missing rent payment from October of 2018. Continue to get charged late fees even though I've submitted receipts that I did pay my rent.
12/10/19 - Lock on mailbox is broken, garbage disposal broken, no heat, still have mold in my apartment. I've put in numerous requests for repairs that go ignored. Last request I put in was 12/4/19. Still no response. They can, however continue to charge me late fees for rent I do not owe. Section 8 needs to pull the contract with these people.
08/30/19 - Water has been off 2 or 3 times in the last 2 or 3 weeks. Again, no notice, no communication.
08/01/19 - I never see security on property anymore so that's already over with. Gates still not working. Still hearing gun shots. It's a lot less but still once a week minimum. Still cars speeding through the neighborhood. Still parents letting their kids play in the middle of the street.
07/15/19 - Had to have codes and Section 8 come out and literally make them fix the roof and the black maintenance guy is the only one who does anything on property. Got me a brand new water heater because the old one was leaking and no one in the office wanted to do anything about it.
07/11/19 - Literally raining inside of my apartment. Sent maintainence who promised someone would be out to take a look this morning. As of 2:21 PM no one has come to do anything at my apartment. Per usual. Seriously considering hiring an attorney at this point to get my deposit back and get out of this lease.
06/26/2019 - So now the water is out and has been out since Monday night. No one has put any notice on the door or explained to us when it will be back working.
So to recap: My key did not work on the very first day I was to move in (which should have been a sign to run), nightly shoot-outs, my AC went out and they tried to bring me an in the window unit in 100 degrees weather, they have a balance on my account for rent I have paid already, we are now going on my 3rd roof leak since moving in in April of 2018 (for a lease that was supposed to start in March) and now no running water for over 24 hours which I am sure is in violation of some code.
Needless to say, I should have listened to the reviews. It doesn't matter who is in management. Stay away from these apartments. They need to be condemned. I won't be renewing my lease and I expect to be reimbursed for my hotel stay tonight and all the cases and jugs of water I am having to buy so my family and I can be clean.
Please do not respond to me with coming to visit the office. I call and visit the office and nothing is ever done.
I have video, pictures and emails to support all of this.
Anyone giving this place 4 and 5 stars is a fake review.

I have been at The Arwen for now 1.5 years.
I first want to acknowledge the staff. Angel was the manager but is no longer with us. We have a wonderful lady Mrs. Lori. The assistant manager Gabriel at times can put in tenants conversations when it’s not needed when speaking to others in the office or in general comes off with an attitude. Tamika our leasing manager is very sweet. No matter where she is in the office she will greet you. So to the person that made a review about her you made a mistake with getting her confused with the assistant manger Gabriel. So those who read all reviews know that it wasn’t Tamika.
The maintenance crew they are awesome. They do their best to get the job done. If they can’t do it they have a third-party come in to do what’s needed.
Now courtesy officer, I wish they did more than what they do but by long they can only do so much. Just wish they Patrolled more than what they do.
Now the reason for my 3 stars. The kids they hang out all day and all night. No parental Supervision they play in the parking lots. There’s a handful of people (adults) that sit in their cars and play music all night until the early morning.
If people watched their kids and followed the simple rules this isn’t a bad place to live.
In my area not much goes on it’s the middle and front.
Just know the staff are doing as much as they can.But residents need to do their part too.

Updated : 4.20.24 office communication, maintenance time and response is great here for me.
But OMG....These roaches in the buildings will take you out alive..
But Why not place notices in mailbox instead of taped on front door?
People back here dont pick up after theyre dogs at all, trash all over the place almost nightly especially weekends! people seem to just let there kids and teens stay outside all kinds hours in the late night being so loud breaking glass bottles..yelling..hitting the car ports when normal people have to get up to actually work in the mornings..wheres the common courtesy!? Don't kids supposed be in the house atleast by dark if they got school next day??! Come on now
