I just moved here a couple months ago and it seems everyone in the community knew my name, and now that I'm here I'm being accused of running a daycare from my apartment SIMPLY because my grandkids come to visit, but the things that gets me is I was told there's video of my family and ANYONE who comes to visit me 🤭 I feel that is an invasion of my privacy, especially when the video doesn't come from COMMUNITY cameras but from one neighbor's camera in particular. (Lawsuit) The video's are being shared throughout the community.. The landscaping is a trip hazard, and this porch light went out and to get the bulb replaced seems impossible for maintenance to do in a timely m.anner. After posting this review there was action taken to fix / replace the light outside. Thank you ❤️ but the business office still needs Internet access 🙏🏾., also I had to up the star rating, because overall t is a nice well kept community.

My mother has been living at Amelia Parc 2 for the past 8 years. I’m currently looking for her another living option for her. The customer service has always been piss poor. And currently in the mist of Covid-19 it has gotten worst. My mother had a wasp nest outside her door in which one of the wasp stung her. She has placed 3 work request to have someone come out and spray the nest down. My sister sent 2 email. Not one of the request has been addressed nor have we receive any feedback from the emails. This is just an example of how they operate. And if you don’t check on your elderly parents trust me their office staff will treat them like they are children. I found it funny how they haven’t even open their office back up allowing renter to come in and speak if they need to address any issues. Yet they are not addressing their work request or emails either. But, as always they will put a note on your door if you fail to pay rent. As for the property management. I have spoken with several renter whom has sent letter and email to the property management company to receive no response. I will say think twice before placing your elderly parents in such a community. Especially if they can’t defend themselves. At the end of the day they really could careless about the elderly as long as your rent payment is dropped in their drop box.

My parents have lived in Amelia Parc for many years now. They love the apartments and the neighbors. When they first moved in they had all sorts of senior activities, the pool was open a lot more, there was a gym, the ladies in the front office were so nice and helpful, they would do anything needed with a smile. Now, the newer ladies in the front office are blatantly rude, uncaring, not accommodating, unprofessional, pathetic and do not need to work with people, especially seniors. They have allowed some tenants to have teenage grandchildren stay with them permanently (the school bus picks them up at the complex), seniors with serious health conditions to live without any AC in Texas for 5 or more days, leave the gate open a lot, closed or got rid of all the amenities that were offered when they first moved in (pool, gym, cable, internet, social activities, security, cleaning, etc). The cable, security, gym, & social activities were all part of rent. Not now. My father’s vehicle has been broken into twice and when he notified the front office was told he should probably call the police. They refused to even come down and look at the truck. On top of all of that the rent just keeps going up every time they sign a lease and not just a little bit. Basically they’re paying more for less amenities and rude treatment. DO NOT move into these apartments!!! Run!!!

I have been working at this senior complex for a year as a home health aid. Recently I had a patient who went 6 days without a fully functioning air conditioning unit (it's spring time in Texas). The manager of the complex, on day 5 started working on getting a company out to fix the problem. By law the complex can NOT leave a senior without functioning air conditioning or heat (if it is winter) for more than 24 hours. If the problem can not be fixed within that time frame, the complex is to put the resident some where at no cost to the resident. My patient informed her, I'm not allowed to work in current conditions, managers response was okay let her go. I myself went to the manager, I informed her I, by law have to turn the complex in. She did not seem to care. Her response to it all, was they were under new management (happened a month or 2 ago) so they had to file insurance (which should have been done when property management was changed). She told me to go ahead & turn the complex in, it didn't matter because it would be fixed. I told her I have to file neglect, she acted like it wouldn't matter since it would be fixed (in her words, today). She was very rude to my patient, & rude to myself. I use to recommend this complex to any senior I knew that was looking for a active senior complex. Now with the experience my patient & myself has received, I will NO longer refer anyone here.
