7 months of living here, and absolutely love the amenities, maintenance and services.
Highly appreciate the secured package deliveries, quick turnaround time for maintenance requests and resolution (thanks to Carlos!), and the super helpful managers and leasing agents at the leasing office.
Just one scope of improvement would be maintenance of cleanliness around some of the stairways (most are pretty clean).

I have been living here for over a year, even extended my lease recently because i liked the location and honestly, my fiancé and i spent a lot of time decorating our apartment and didn't want to take it all down after a year.
Issue at hand and warning for future/current residents: AKS hired contractors to clean the apartments dryer vents. They sent out an email regarding it and also mentioned in that email that they would send out emails every morning updating us on what floor they would be on. THEY DID NOT UPDATE 2ND FLOOR. And even if they would have, it doesn't change what happened and what the workers did.
Instead, when i hopped out of the shower with no clothes on AT ALL, and was getting dressed in my bedroom, all of a sudden i turn to my right and i see 2 grown men standing at my entry way watching me get dressed. I didn't realize they were in my unit as i didn't hear them and they did not announce themselves, did not even knock loud enough, just barged in and watched me get dressed. I know maintenance needs access to our units, but maybe call? Knock loud? And once you see a naked woman alone dressing herself, wouldn't you exit the unit? Of course, unless you have perverted intentions you wouldn't. I reported this to management and i fear they are not taking this as serious as they should be. They're telling me what i want to hear to dismiss the issue. I feel so violated and can't seem to fathom this is something that actually happened. Accidents happen, but choosing to stay there watching me is NOT an accident. I do wish i was more aware of my surroundings but at home, you let your guard down. Never again. I will not be resigning the lease, paying close to 2k every month but there is absolutely no security. The gates are open 24/7, the contractors have keys to all the units and know where we stay. There is no safety precautions at all. So if you're big on or care about privacy and security, i would not recommend AKS.
Side note: You will struggle to find parking unless you pay $50+ (per car) a month to reserve a spot.

I had a real good experience touring this complex! The leasing agent that assisted me was very helpful, personable, and knowledgeable. Staff was lovely! However, the reason for my review and why I've decided not to lease here was that I noticed the complex itself was not very clean. From the hallway walls and floors, the glass on doorways, the elevators, and more. It didn't seem like daily cleanings are done, and was a big deal breaker for me.

This apartment could have so much potential if residents cleaned up after their dogs, especially in the common areas and the grass outside. The latest example being dog poop smeared in the halls on a Saturday morning. There was no one in the apartment office in the morning, and two phone calls later in the afternoon were unanswered due to the new AI voicemail. A text to the apartment also didn’t resolve anything as no one responded and it just created a new work order. As a result, this dog poop will remain in the hallway over the entire weekend where it’ll hopefully be addressed on Monday. Photos are attached as well.
