Roughly 20 miles northwest of Downtown San Antonio, Friedrich Wilderness Park is a neighborhood named for the park it contains. The park covers 600 acres and offers 10 miles of hiking trails. It is home to two endangered songbirds, one of Bexar County?s oldest working windmills, and fantastic views from several vantage points.
