It is unsafe to live here. The management is terrible and make a whole bunch of mess for the daily life. Very under performing real estate team. Fire alarm can false alarm very very loud at 2 am can cannot be stopped. My hearing is seriously impaired after that! They chased a neighbor out of the apartment without any warning just because the poor guy paid the rent one day later then the due date. And left that poor man in the street without help! You know what, in Europe this is totally illegal. I cleaned up the apartment during 3 days with professional and my family. It is very clean but at the end they charged me an extra 650 dollar for re cleaning. This is not a good way of doing business. The capability to over charge your client is not an advantage of the company, it is the beginning of downfall. Trash management is a catastrophe, paid for nothing but just trouble and fines. With trash polution and smelly garbage, they fail to get thing on track. Very hard to communicate with no efficiency. No honor. They overcharge me another month of rent after my lease end. It is said to be an error but after one month I still don't get the refund. The energy and time to handle this issue is ridiculous. Don't come here. Don't come. You will regret. Update I upload the video that I took right before I move out. I spent 3 days cleaning and with professional help to make the apartment much cleaner and nicer than the state when I moved in. This video is the proof of the state when I move out. And they charged me 650 for this!! Please, say something with good conscience! I clean all the corners and even baseboards and cardboard upper and lower levels. I repaired the nail holes that we used to have in order to leave it a proper place for the next renters. I dont think this is an honest way to deal with people. Two years ago the management was good and things were good. But after they changed the ownership and management team, it becomes a place not fit for living anymore

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Out of the seven apartments I’ve stayed in around Dallas, Crest has been the absolute worst. While the property may look nice on the surface, living here tells a completely different story, especially when it comes to safety and management. During my 1+ year stay, I endured several traumatic incidents. Living on the first floor is not safe. At one point, someone attempted to break into my apartment at 3 a.m. by throwing a rock at the window right next to the latch. Maintenance placed a wood board over the window that night, but it remained there for a month before being properly addressed. Another event was a stabbing that occurred right outside my patio where I heard screaming and calling for help. On another occasion, there was a pool party after hours that escalated into a shooting. Partygoers dispersed across the complex, hiding in the parking lot and surrounding areas. This could have been prevented if security had properly monitored the pool area and shut it down after hours, especially since nearby residents had reported over 100 people gathering. It's not a safe neighborhood at all with something happening every night from stabbings to shootings. The previous manager, Maise, was fantastic and always helpful. However, the assistant manager, Lora, has proven to be unhelpful and focused on nickel-and-diming tenants. For instance, I was charged for trash being left out, even though my Ring camera footage showed that trash collection had missed my bag and was told the charge would remain because I left it out. Maise luckily stepped in and waived the charge to resolve the issue since the footage displayed my trash and a few other was missed. I was later given a violation for a "dirty balcony," even though all I had on it was a small patio set ( 2 bistro chairs and small table) and a bike. When I spoke to Lora, she falsely claimed I had a storage box on the patio. After explaining what I actually had, she then claimed bikes weren’t allowed, which wasn’t true. Thankfully, Maise stepped in again and confirmed bikes were permitted, preventing an unfair charge. The property has homelessness issues, with individuals frequently roaming the complex and cars being broken into regularly. Broken glass from shattered windows was a constant sight in the parking lot. Even after moving out, the nightmare continued. I was charged over $1,100 in fees, with claims that I left the apartment in a "very, very dirty state," according to management. However, when I moved in, there were already issues like a broken window and a large chip on the island counter. These problems were never fixed during my stay but were conveniently added to my move-out balance. After several calls, management finally "found" the move-in sheet that documented these pre-existing issues and agreed to remove those charges even though I was told due to management changes the form is likely lost and will result in the fees staying. I am grateful it was found but being told it was most likely lost before even checking was unprofessional. However, they insisted cleaning and painting fees would remain, despite the cheap paint they use that peels off easily, which is probably a tactic so they can charge the paint fee. I imagine painting is standard when a tenant moves out unless there is significant damage to the walls or different color paint both which were not present as shown in the video. This property is far from luxurious, despite its appearance. Management routinely solicits tenants for 5-star reviews to bury the negative ones, which should tell you everything you need to know. If you live in the buildings near Coit, be prepared for constant sirens at all hours due to the fire station nearby. The attached pictures show the “very dirty” apartment I allegedly left behind, according to management, and the water damage in my first unit that was fixed poorly. Both units had issues upon move-in, and while SOME were addressed, it took over a month. This has been the worst apartment experience of my life. Stay far away from Crest!!!

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the unprofessional conduct and lack of support I have been experiencing with the current management team at Crest at Park Central Over the past month, I have contacted management multiple times regarding an issue I am trying to resolve. Each time, I am either promised a return call that never happens or provided with incorrect information. Despite submitting clear documentation and proof, my concerns are repeatedly dismissed without resolution or understanding. Today’s interaction with the manager was especially disappointing. She was rude, refused to answer my direct questions, constantly changed the subject, and ultimately told me she would end the call. This level of disrespect and avoidance is unacceptable. What’s most frustrating is that I never had these types of issues under the previous management. The new management has shown a clear lack of professionalism, communication, and courtesy — all of which have made dealing with even simple matters extremely difficult. I have been a resident at this property for over three years and have always handled matters respectfully. I am asking for this issue to be taken seriously and for steps to be taken to improve the behavior and responsiveness of the current management team.

I been living here for the past two years and had recently moved out. This apartment is full of unprofessional leasing & maintenance people and poor facilities. Gates are always broken. And be careful for those top floor units and they were vibrating and loud from the AC unit! Trust me you have better options!

Terrible management. Pool areas are destroyed and TRASHED every weekend and people are there after pool hours all the time. After several notices we gave them about this and people fighting out there at all hours of the night during the week and weekends and nothing was done-Sure enough this last Tuesday someone was SHOT at the pool. And my guess is that there will be no changes put into place. They recommend you call community patrol or the police, which we have and nothing changes. These same people wait for the patrol and police to leave and get right back to it. Which we have told management about also. Additionally there are homeless people roaming the courtyard and common areas, coming into the building and banging on peoples doors. Smoking in the building when it’s a “smoke free” community. Good luck if you’re pregnant . The best they do is send out a weekly email reminder that it’s smoke free and that the pool closes at 10pm. Clearly not effective when people are getting shot at the pool on a Tuesday night at 11pm. When we first moved in they had an entire week to clean and prepare our apartment for us. Nothing was done. We were overcharged for our water bill as there was a leak in our toilets that was present prior to us moving in. The list goes on. If you’re looking for “luxury” living like their website claims. Keep scrolling because this is not the place for you. It’s not a safe place to live. We have refrained from leaving a review like this for months and months but after this last incident we are out of grace to give because had they hired more staff, closed the pool, or tightened their security parameters like we had suggested numerous times (but they claim they aren’t willing to do that) - this could have been avoided.
