This place has very good prices considering it’s very close to Dallas. I applied for an apartment here and now I am a resident. So far the apartment was given in good condition very clean (more than we expected it to be) it has a very quiet and peaceful environment. If you plan on looking at these apartments as a first time renter this would be a great option!

Still living here we’ve had no complaints no issues with roaches. Pest control come by every week if you request the service. Area is cleaned up very well. Maintenance 10/10 I’ll put in a maintenance request they’ll come the next day. No Apartment complex is perfect but this one definitely is great we haven’t had any issues! They have been able to resolve issues when we bring it up to them.

Edit: Photos below are of “issues” when I moved out after I clean the apartment to the best of my ability. Only real big issues I see are 4 and 9, and maybe 5, 8 and the microwave, but I could have swore I scrubbed it out. You be the judge is it worth being charged an additional 180 dollars after you moved out?
It is an ok place. Not great, not amazing, but overall not terrible either. Vehicle policy is a little weird and frustrating if you have any appearance damage to your car that you can’t afford to fix. I had trouble with fleas due to an awful unit next to me for a while, but after that unit left and was cleaned I never had any problems again. Was a little bit annoyed at the cleaning fee when I left. I had taken time to clean the apartment prior to leaving, but apparently hadn’t cleaned it well enough. I assumed it would be taken out of a damage deposit or deposit I made when I first moved in but apparently not and I got charged an extra $200 after leaving for stuff most apartments wouldn’t charge you for or stuff they would just take out of the deposit (photos of some of the most ridiculous ones below). This place will definitely nickel and dime you over every little thing, but overall the price per month honestly isn’t too bad, especially for what places go for right now. Should it cost less? Absolutely. All apartments should be cheaper than they are right now, but some people are just too damn greedy for their own good. This place at least gave me a place to go when I didn’t have a lot of other options and had better reviews, amenities, and was mostly more put together than my other choices.
Edit: Ok in response to the comment by the properties, if it’s the case that the rest of the photos are the issue then WHY were the original pictures of “issues” included? Where is the damage or shit you had to clean? Why was I charged for shit I already cleaned? Are you seriously telling me clean one door of some candle soot, and cleaning tiles of the bathtub should cost almost 200$? In the list breakdown you sent I didn’t even understand half the stuff listed as issues, it just mostly sounded like normal stuff any good landlord has to do between renters. The only thing that was damaged (and something I realized I would get stuck paying the second it broke btw) was something that I am pretty sure wasn’t properly fixed in the past because it broke the practically the second I moved the door within the first week of me living there. The only reason I didn’t fuss and paid the damn price was because I didn’t want to have to deal with any more BS from y’all and just move on with my life. I left this trying to be nice but honest to people like me who don’t get a whole lot of choices. People like me who maybe couldn’t have afforded the extra charge if they were moving into another apartment after by themselves after. I was lucky, others may not be. This place is ok and I thank you for providing a decent enough place to live, but don’t try to pretend and act like I’m the issue. Washing machines prices went up by 50 something cents in the year I was there, with no email, no text, no warning. That’s nickel and dime bs. And I didn’t have a huge problem with the car rules, but some people might. Since I wanted to leave an honest review I mentioned it, because it does affect people. Any since you feel like I wasn’t fair I added the rest of the “issue” photos I was given, since like said, I’m just trying to be honest and give my experience so others can judge for themselves. Good freaking day.

I requested maintenance guy to repaire sink disposal and treatment of my apartment for insects. They came following day and provided fast and reliable services.
I thank April for her swift follow up too.

Right off the bat when I moved in the stove wasn't working. All I had to do was turn the knob to discover that but seemingly that was not on the checklist to ready the apartment for a new tenant. The maintenance person did respond quickly to my service request and after some banging around the ancient stove was plugged in and ready for it's second decade of service. A similar situation occurred with the dish washer. When I was opening it to check things out the whole machine came out of the cabinet. I am not sure why that was not secured in place but I happened to have some screws and a screwdriver so I secured that old appliance in place. The kitchen is quite small. You cannot open the dishwasher and the refrigerator at the same time. The sink is just barely big enough to accommodate a standard plate. You also have to be an expert strategist to actually have enough room for things you would expect to have in a kitchen like utensils, cookware , and pantry items. I could never make it work and had to store plates, utensils, and cookware in my ancient dishwasher which took 90 minutes for the wash cycle (or at least it seemed that long).
In the bathroom a construction blunder could be found in the hot and cold knobs in the reverse positions. And, just to put a cherry on top, the toilet paper holder was such that you couldn't fit a roll of paper in it. That was just one of those things where I just rolled my eyes about it and just set the roll on the sink counter.
When I first moved in I didn't have a car. Then during the pandemic I was able to get a car from the stimulus money. But I was contacted by the office saying that my vehicle didn't "qualify " to park on property because of my faded paint job and dents in the vehicle. So I had to spend another thousand dollars just to park where I live.
And finally, when I experienced a very unfortunate incident that caused me to suffer a significant financial setback where I had to ask to get out of my lease, after being a model resident for 5 years, the apartment Fath CanyonCreek, turned me over to a collection agency and delt my credit score a punishing blow.
There has to be a better option for a place to live.

I am living in Canyon Creek for the last 3 and a half years, and the service response is really good. The cleanliness and greenery are also good. :)
