We had the best experience leasing an apartment thanks to the wonderful tour guide Laura G. From the moment we walked in, she was incredibly welcoming, professional, and informative. Not only did she give us a fantastic tour of the property, but she also walked us through the leasing process step by step. She was patient with all of our questions, made sure we understood all the details, and helped us find the perfect apartment that fit our needs. Her knowledge of the community and the units made the entire process seamless and stress-free. We’re so happy with our decision, and we couldn’t have done it without her assistance! The property is nice and well maintained. They do have many resident events which is nice. Maintenance isn’t too bad they get things done within a week of me submitting the request. And all the buildings are controlled access. BUT the walls are extremely thin. I live on the 4th floor and I can hear my neighbors directly below me constantly making noise, and if it storms please know the power more than likely will go out every single time. And a new issue I noticed today was one my neighbors tires were stolen. I haven’t heard of this issue here before (I know the other complexes near by have had a tire theft issue) but the car was sitting on bricks. It makes me a little uneasy that theft may become an issue now but proceed with caution if you lease here.

We are in the process of selling our house and we wanted to look for an apartment that felt like home with a sense of community. When we arrived here as a walk in I was already exhausted for seeing more than 7 apartment complex previously that day. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and they gave us information on the different apartments that they had available. During that process we met Laura and the rest is history. Laura took time of her day to show us around the complex, was very attentive and polite, she made us feel heard and gave us a sense of family. Because of her we decided to choose this apartment complex. Our house it’s still in the selling process and Laura still call us to see how the process is going and is always willing to have a talk with us. She is definitely something else. I’m so happy to have chose a place that has someone like her.

When we decided to sell our home we went apartment hunting. We visited over 10 apartment places and their customer service was not great. We were giving up and decided to stop here and it immediately felt like home thanks to Laura. Laura Goss was THE main reason we chose to live here, she was our deciding factor. Her positive attitude, her attention to what we needed, the way she took her time to show us the apartments/facilities, and how she presented some of the other employees of this apartment complex made us feel like we would have an extended family while living here. For us the management and customer service are the most important qualities of apartment living because we want to know that they will take care of our needs. And yes, it is also a huge plus that the apartment and amenities are beautiful, comfortable, and luxurious. People like Laura sell more than just an apartment, they sell a home, a community, a family.

The Arden Midtown Grand Prairie apartments are very nice and well-maintained. However, my experience with the front office staff, particularly Sydney Edwards, was disappointing and negatively impacted my overall impression.
While Sydney was helpful during the leasing process, especially when I faced some verification challenges, her attitude throughout the rest of the experience was not welcoming. During an in-person visit, she began assisting us but stopped mid-conversation to speak with other residents while we were seated at her desk without explanation. This came across as dismissive and unprofessional.
Additionally, she repeatedly referred to the person I was with as my significant other, even after I corrected her. It showed a lack of attentiveness and care in how she communicated. Her general demeanor felt condescending, as though she saw herself as above the people she was helping.
When I contacted her by phone, her responses were short, impersonal, and seemed rushed like she was more focused on getting through the call than actually helping. And half of the time she was calling me already with a bad tone starting the phone call. Sydney also stated that she didn’t know who my apartment locator was, which was confusing considering they had been in contact before and the locator has had other people tour and lease at this property. I also have yet to receive an email back from her regarding other questions about the apartment and the billing.
Great customer service is just as important as a nice property. Unfortunately, the way I was treated made me feel undervalued as a potential resident. I hope the management team addresses these concerns, as the community deserves a leasing staff that reflects the quality of the apartments.
Update - still waiting to receive my deposit back, if not a case has already been made with my bank.
