New landlords buy out the block of apartments, increase rent by 10-15%, and sign all residents up for spam emails without the option to unsubscribe. Then they stop responding to calls and emails... so we don't renew the lease, and for 3 WEEKS we send them emails and calls to confirm we don't be extending. No one responds. So we DRIVE to their office, our lease ends July 1, it's on the paperwork, which they've LOST, so they don't believe us and say they will continue charging us even though the apt is spotless, empty, the lease states July 1 clearly, and we've made numerous attempts to contact them.
They act heroic for investing in a repaved parking lot—who cares when they can't manage the goo goo gaga basics of being landlords: leasing contracts, telephone, email.

Lived here for two years and had a great experience until the new management took over in the Summer of 2023. The Tipton group bought out Central Properties and the transition was rocky. This new management group isn’t great with communication, and seems unwilling to be helpful to their tenants. Prior to the new group taking over, I would have given this place 4 stars. I originally wanted to stay at this complex but the lack of communication, the drastic and sudden increase of rent and unnecessary fees made me look for housing elsewhere. I reached out 3 months in advance to inquire about a different unit but they weren’t helpful or communicative. I asked to prorate my rent for a couple of days because I need some flexibility with moving into my new place but they were uninterested in being helpful. Additionally, their new payment system includes fees that drastically increase the price of rent. While I enjoyed my time living there, I did have a repeated large roach issue since the units are old and not insulated. The water was out for a couple of days and the communication from the new property group was minimal/nonexistent & sometimes the water doesn’t heat up at all. Some pros are the pool is always clean and the neighborhood is beautiful.

I have lived at Fiesta Place for 22 years. Yes, 22 years. The location is very convenient for me as it is close to my job and the bus line is just one minute from my front door. The neighborhood is very historic with beautiful trees lined on every street. The New owners, the Tipton Group, took over a few months ago and with it, a substantial rent increase. But, it's a sign of the times and current economy. During the few months that the new owners have been in place, the roof has been replaced and the parking lot has been resurfaced, and the laundry room is being renovated too. Yay! I met leasing agent Bryenda, who was very nice and helpful to me, as was Emy, hope I spelled that right. A recent maintenance request introduced me to Jerald, who was so professional and quick in diagnosing and fixing my issue. A really cool guy. I love it here .

Decent apartment building physically but management has disappeared using Covid for an excuse. Emails and phone messages go unanswered. I never received a sheet to document the state of the apartment even after emailing and calling several times.
I can't even reach a staff member to learn about my options for extending or ending my lease.
